🌟 Volunteer Roles with the You Matter Card Project

We welcome people of all backgrounds and skills. Here are some ways you can help:

1. Outreach Volunteer

What you’ll do:

• Share You Matter Cards in your community (libraries, community centres, food banks, shelters, cafés).
• Talk with people about what the card is and why it’s useful.
• Help us spread the word about the project at local events.

Who it’s for:

• Friendly, approachable people who enjoy connecting with others.
• No special training required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.

2. Social Media Volunteer

What you’ll do:

• Post updates about the project on social media platforms.
• Help create engaging posts (text, images, short videos).
• Respond to comments and messages to keep the community engaged.

• People comfortable with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Threads.
• Creative communicators who want to help build awareness online.

3. Website & Technical Volunteer

• Support updates to our WordPress site.
• Help troubleshoot small tech issues or improve the site’s features.
• Assist with integrations (forms, QR codes, multi-language tools).

4. Design & Creative Volunteer

What you’ll do:

5. Community Connections Volunteer

What you’ll do:

• Reach out to organizations that may want to use or customize the You Matter Card.
• Help build partnerships with non-profits, libraries, shelters, and cultural groups.
• Support follow-ups with existing partners.

Who it’s for:

• Organized people who enjoy networking.
• Comfortable reaching out to groups by phone, email, or in person.
